About International Society for Burn Injuries
The ISBI was founded in the city of Edinburgh, Scotland in 1965. It's first Secretary, General Mr. A. B. Wallace, said in 1965, "The delegates of the Edinburgh Congress aim to set up a permanent organization in the hope of reducing the incidence of this major scourge, as well as improving patient care, especially in developing countries."
DCS Web Design Case Study
Updated an older site and assumed website management and hosting responsibilities. Added an online database and created a desktop database manager to produce reports.
Desktop and on-line database are synchronized so admin may manage the db online or from a laptop while traveling.
Also created a secure environment and integrated new online membership area with on-line payments for membership renewal and access to a third party magazine subscription service "The Burn Journal" hosted by Elsevier.
