Initial Discovery |
Discuss your project in general terms as you define your overall business goals for the
application or website. We'll provide a written project proposal with expected cost, timelines, project management, business relationship, and if desired, professional
references.
Initial consultations are free.
Meet at your site, on the phone, or at our office. |

Detailed Discovery (Project Acceptance) |
Meet with specific partners in the projects and define specific tasks, core structures, and design
strategies. Review and analyze hardware and system capabilities and layout. Layout a strategy of implementation and if required, transformation or conversion
of existing data. |
Design and layout a web "template" and if applicable, set-up web hosting and mail servers.
If transferring hosts or creating a new domain (www.yoursite.com), determine domain management requirements and a transfer strategy. Work with existing hosts to prepare
for site transfer. |
Determine target market and applicable keyword phrases (KW). If applicable, review existing site to
determine optimization strategy and any layout / content deficiencies. Back-up and store existing site pages. Edit page content, meta-tags to target KW's |
| 3 |
Prototype |
A first look at the data structure and the main user interface. If available, test using typical
data to expose shortfalls. Firm up software business rules. |
A first look at the web site layout and overall look and feel. Sample content is integrated into the
preliminary design. The design is available in a staging environment on either our web servers or yours. If applicable, preliminary database interactivity on the
site or synchronization with desktop applications is tested. |

Critique |
Your feedback to the prototype and a decision point to move forward to full build or expand the prototype.
Typically a protoype will come in two sessions. One initial review to ensure no major course corrections are needed and a second review with the complete, intended
design. |
Feedback and tweaking. |

Deployment |
Full build will be deployed. Existing data has been converted. Project partners have tested out the
application and business rules to establish familiarity and determine efficiency. Live data and / or business routines are managed through the system. |
New site layout is deployed on the live web server. Content is fully integrated. If
required, domain transfers are initiated. |
New content and meta-tag information is fully integrated. Search engine submissions are completed.
Your feedback to ensure content changes are acceptable. |

Follow-Up |
Follow-up and correct coding issues. Warranty service is for the life of the software.
(If we coded something incorrectly, we'll fix it at no charge) |
Final review by project partners to ensure goals were met. |
Review and reporting as defined in the proposal. |
