I forgot my anniversary.  No – not that one.  If I’d forgotten that one, I’d wouldn’t be writing this.

Monday the 17th was my 11th year of business.  I’m bound and determined to celebrate every year because it’s just so darn fun to be in business for yourself, even in April.    And just like July of last year, I started thinking about ways to celebrate.  Logos, cards, e-mails, promotions, etc.

But again, just like last year, I’ve been so busy, I just haven’t had time to do anything like that.   And then it struck me this afternoon; I’m so busy, I forgot my anniversary.  No better way to continue celebrating 11 years of business by being busy.

And I get to celebrate because of you, my clients. Thanks to all of you and best wishes for your future success.   Gotta go now…busy.

Just finished phase 1 of a project to feature historical markers from all around San Antonio and Bexar County in the BexarBusiness.com Directory.

The goal is to add some community based data into the directory and add some valuable content to the site.

While pursuing the project, I did find a lot of errors in the mapping data provided by the state. I’m slowly making corrections to it, but that will also limit updates from the state historical database as I’d not want to overwrite any corrections.

Phase 2 will include a map guide allowing users to select different parts of the county and show the location of all of the markers within a designated radius.
