The Dawg Business Directory was launched this week. The Dawg Business Directory is a business advertising directory provided specifically for business owners and advertisers to market their products and services online to a military audience. By listing your website, you are improving it’s visibility to visitors and search engines.
On August 17, 1998 I drove down to the Bexar County courthouse, wandered around with several fees in hand, and stepped back out into the hot afternoon sun with my brand new “doing business as” certificate.
A few weeks before, I’d given notice to my contract supervisor at USAA that I was leaving. It must have been fate, as the first thing she said in reply was “What are you going to do…start your own business?”
Yep, I did. And here I am 8 years later, still successfully plugging away at it and enjoying every minute I don’t have to commute to and from a soundproof box.
So thanks to all my past and present clients, who over the years have kept me busy and challenged. I hope the results saved you time and money and enabled you to continue your dream. Here I go into year number 9!
