Mike's first career was
with the
United States Air Force.
Mike is originally from several areas of New England including Old Saybrook, Connecticut and Easthampton, Massachusetts.
In early 1976, he enlisted with the United States Air Force. While in the Air Force, Mike was assigned to the telecommunications installation and maintenance field. He was responsible
for a broad scope of duties in his career and completed many tours of duty throughout the world including Turkey, Sicily, and Germany.

After a distinguished 21 year career, he retired from the Air Force in December 1996 and joined the Reports Development Team at West Teleservices in San Antonio, Texas. He
served as a custom reports developer for various telemarketing clients, including AT&T and Chase-Manhattan Bank.
In September 1997, Mike moved to a contract software programming position at Hershey Foods, Hershey, Pennsylvania and was responsible for development and site maintenance of the
Resource Management System used at various factory locations in the greater Hershey area.
In January 1998, he joined the contracting team of the Office Support Tools Division at United Services Automobile Association (USAA) in San Antonio, Texas. He was responsible for
conversion of existing client applications to Microsoft technology and also served as a member of the Y2K compliance and development standards team.
In August 1998, Mike established DCS as a full time business providing custom database programming services. During the latter part of 1998, he successfully completed examination for recognition as a Microsoft Certified
Professional. In 2000, he expanded his services to include web design and on-line database applications. In early 2003, he further expanded his services to include website and search
engine optimization.
